At Grove Park we are proud of our school uniform.

 

In Autumn and Winter, the Grove Park school uniform is as follows:

• A logoed school jumper or cardigan (available from Earth Uniform)

• A plain white, long or short sleeved, polo shirt with a collar (no t-shirts)

• A grey skirt/trousers

• Grey tights

• Grey/white socks

• Plain black shoes/plain black smart trainers

 

In Spring and Summer, the Grove Park school uniform is as follows:

• A logoed school jumper or cardigan (available from Earth Uniform)

• A plain white, long or short sleeved, polo shirt with a collar (no t-shirts)

• A grey skirt/grey shorts or trousers/a blue gingham summer school dress

• Grey/white socks

• Plain black shoes/plain black smart trainers

 

Grove Park’s PE kit (for children from Year 1 to Year 6) includes:

• A blue drawstring Grove Park PE bag

• A logoed white t-shirt (available from Earth Uniform)

• Plain black jogging bottoms/leggings

• Black shorts

• White socks

• Suitable sports trainers (no plimsolls, converse, high-tops)

 

Bags 

• Reception to Year 2: Logo Book Bag (available from Earth Uniform)

• Years 3 to 6: Logo Rucksack (available from Earth Uniform)

 

All items of clothing brought to school, including bags and drink bottles, should be clearly labelled with the child’s full name. Please ensure your child knows where to find the label and how to recognise it.

Each child is responsible for looking after their own property.  Parents need to take the time to show your child how the item has been named / where to look for their name.  When naming the items, please make sure the name is not hidden away. 

There are many ways you can name the items including here are many ways you can name the items including

- Sharpie / permanent marker / Laundry marker pens (available from stationery stores / supermarkets / online)

- Personal name stickers (available online)

- Personal name stamps (available online)

- Sew in labels (available online)

Whichever option you choose, please just make sure you name everything and also get in the habit of checking periodically (eg each holiday) that the name is still visible.

 

Preloved Uniform Sale

Friends of Grove Park Primary School PTA regularly run a sale of preloved uniform items.  The uniform sale is a great way to:

Save money – The preloved uniform sale is a great way to purchase uniform items at a reasonable price.  All funds raised from the Preloved sale goes to supporting the school.  It also means you can update the uniform easily as your child grows meaning they are always going to school in fitting uniform.

Protect the environment - Supporting the preloved uniform sale is also a great way to help support the environment by ensuring the uniform is reused.  So often the children grow out of the uniform before it has reached the end of its life. 

The upcoming planned Preloved Uniform Sales are on the following Friday’s from 3-3.30pm
